Ambassador Hotel

The Hotel Ambassador is a unique complex, combining a modern building with an architectural gem from the 19th century. An atrium plays the central role in the foot plan of the complex. A prominent architect A. Svistunov, who took part in recreation of the interiors of the 19th century palaces that used to belong to nobility in St. Petersburg, is the author of interior design of the state- rooms of the hotel. At the Ambassador Hotel, the architect, who followed the tradition of the Academy of Fine Arts, used the Russian interior design of the 19th century as a model and gave a new interpretation of well-known classics.
